Michael's birth story 41 weeks
I was induced on June 4th 2010 because my son was 10 days over due. 
The first induction didn't work no dilation or effacement I was sent home. The second induction on June 7th worked. They only inserted their cervidil and about 6 hours from insertion to pushing my son was here. It happened so quickly I couldn't get the epidural I thought I wanted. (After all 3 labor I prefer an unmedicated labor I've had it both ways) during pushing they lost Michaels heart rate which I didn't know at the time. So they gave me an episiotomy which was equal to a 3rd degree tear. Very painful. They were going for the mushroom vacuum which scared me into pushing the hardest I've ever pushed lol and out he came. His recovery was very painful from the episiotomy it took me about 4 months to heal. 
With Isabella I got a life threatening uterine infection 4 days after she was born. Each birth and post party's has been so vividly different and wonderful in its own way
